The workshop was well attended as the list of participants shows. It should be noted that representatives from the prime industrial players in content distribution are registered for the workshop, including Telenor the main ISP and larges R&D company in this area, Tandberg the worlds leading developer and producer of video conferencing systems, and Schibsted the main media distributer (“the Norwegian correpondant to Reuters”).
The presentations were accompanied and followed up with many discussions, also during the breaks. Furthermore demonstrations on ANA work including the multi-modal multi-media complex event system and autonomic content distribution for future internet were demonstrated. One concrete follow-up of this workshop are several initiatives towards joint EU proposals for the fifth call of academic partners and industry.
